How does home watch work?
You will reach out to Strathmore Home Watch to set up a convenient time for an initial consultation to discuss your home watch needs. During the consultation, you can discuss your requirements, ask us any questions you may have, and we will help determine the best plan of action for monitoring and maintaining your home while you are away. A service agreement is then completed outlining the duration and the specific needs you have for the property. Once the property is unoccupied, Strathmore Home Watch will conduct home visits at the desired intervals set out in the service agreement. During each home watch visit, a digital checklist report will be completed that documents the current status of the property. Any areas of concern will be captured through photographs and included in the report. After each visit, the report will be sent to you electronically, providing you with peace of mind that your property has been checked on while you are away.
What happens if the home watch visit uncovers an issue?
If an issue is discovered during a home watch visit, we will promptly notify you and can assist in coordinating repairs or maintenance with trusted local contractors or service providers, according to your instructions.
